Our featured Portfolio of the Week is an infographic designer with a long experience, currently working as a deputy editor at theTimes of Oman. It’s a huge pleasure to present the work of Marcelo Duhalde.

Before moving to the Times of Oman, Marcelo worked in EL Mercurio, the main newspaper of Chile, developing some big scale infographics for different issues, and was a teacher in the Catholic University of Chile, sharing his experience with journalism students.

But the experience inside the Times has been unique, developing big projects both in English and Arabic related with middle east heritage and general interest subjects, together with a creative department that is always exploring innovative ways to show information.

“It’s a very interesting and talented group. It can be compared with a creative workshop always publishing outstanding pieces. This way to work has given to Times of Oman and Shabiba newspaper more than one hundred awards in SND and Malofiej the last 2 years”, he said.
